I have been practicing massage and yoga on a regular basis since I moved to Hawaii in 2001. I first began by working with my peers where I discovered a natural ability to follow my intuition and provide healing touch. I went on to formally train at the Big Island Academy of Massage, which I graduated from in 2003. During this time I also completed my first Yoga Teacher Training with Kathy Elder and began studies in Healing Dance (Aquatic Bodywork) with Inika Spence. I have since studied Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue, Thai Massage, Chinese Acupressure and Reiki with different teachers all on the Big Island. I have also studied different martial arts forms such as Capoeira, Tai Chi, Qi gong, and Kuk Sol ( A Korean Buddhist Martial Art)
In addition to all this training I have also been a Dj at Kalani’s Ecstatic Dance event since 2011. I also received my Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork certificate in Healing Dance in 2013. I also completed my 200hr. Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training in July of 2015. I continue to explore the healing arts with an open mind and heart, always in search of more tools to share to help others and myself cultivate more happiness, health and peace in our lives.
